With Walter GPS, manufacturers can now generate application-specific tool solutions. A new function also allows engineers to order Walter Xpress drilling and reaming tools directly. All the functions the App already offers for standard drills are now also available for special tools for the first time.

Cutting tool expert Walter is extending its range of solid carbide milling cutters for ISO N machining with the addition of two distinct roughing specialists, the MD265 Supreme and the MC268 Advance.

With the FW4 and MW4 wiper geometries, Walter has now launched two new turning indexable insert geometries. The new FW4 and MW4 combine the ‘wiper effect’ with new chip breaker geometries and extremely wear-resistant Tiger·tec Gold grades.

Each of the three new geometries has specific features making them suitable for different applications.

With the new TC130 HSS-E Supreme tap, Walter is launching a premium tool for blind-hole tapping that combines many different features. The new TC130 Supreme tap incorporates straight grooves to produce short chips, resulting in high process reliability.
