From September 15 to 19, 2026, the international metalworking industry will gather at AMB in Stuttgart. At Hall 7, Booth 7B21, Datron will showcase solutions for cost-effective, high-precision CNC machining. The highlight of the company’s trade show presence will be the debut of the Datron MLmax Pro, a new large-format milling machine, which will be presented to a broad industry audience for the first time.

With a working area of 1,500 × 3,000 mm (59.1 × 118.1 in), traverse speeds of up to 50 m/min, and intuitive operation through Datron next, the Datron MLmax Pro expands the Datron milling machine portfolio into a new size category. The new machine will be showcased alongside proven Datron high-speed milling solutions, live machining demonstrations, and high-performance Datron milling tools.

Despite its size, the Datron MLmax Pro delivers high dynamics even over short axis travels and along complex contours. The machine achieves traverse speeds of up to 50 m/min. This performance is enabled by a newly developed Y-axis drive concept, optimized moving masses, and a machine structure engineered for high rigidity.

Fast changes in direction, combined with precise acceleration and deceleration, help reduce machining times even when producing smaller contours.

The new large-format machine also follows Datron’s established approach to intuitive operation. The Datron MLmax Pro uses Datron next, combining its large working area with an easy-to-use interface and features specifically designed for sheet machining applications.

High-speed milling for a wide range of manufacturing requirements

In addition to the Datron MLmax Pro, Datron will showcase several proven solutions from its milling machine portfolio. The Datron neo is designed to make getting started with milling particularly easy. The compact machine combines intuitive operation with high process reliability and is especially well suited for users looking to integrate milling into their production environment quickly and easily.

For demanding productivity and series production requirements, Datron will showcase the Datron MXCube. The high-speed milling machine combines high material removal rates with excellent precision and surface quality. Its robust machine design, high dynamics, and powerful high-frequency spindles provide the foundation for efficient and cost-effective machining processes.

With the Datron M8Cube, the company will also showcase a solution for the efficient machining of aluminium housings, profiles, and front panels, as well as other non-ferrous metals and composite materials.

Live demonstrations will highlight how machining strategy, tooling, machine concept, and intuitive operation work together as an integrated process.

High-performance tooling as part of the machining process

At AMB, Datron will also demonstrate that machining productivity depends on more than the machine tool alone. Among the solutions on display will be the new Datron Roughing End Mill Pro.

The Datron Roughing End Mill Pro was developed to deliver high material removal rates while maintaining reliable process stability. It complements Datron machine solutions particularly well in demanding roughing applications.

“Bringing metal to life”: Experience machining processes live

Under the motto “Bringing metal to life,” Datron will give AMB visitors the opportunity to see its technologies in action. Live machining demonstrations will showcase the strengths of each machine concept and highlight the applications for which they are best suited.

Datron application experts will also be on hand to discuss specific parts, materials, and manufacturing requirements with visitors and explore solutions that combine precision, productivity, and ease of use.
