Metrologic DCS, a Sandvik Intelligent Manufacturing company and global supplier of quality intelligence software, announced the release of Metrolog V25 and the latest version of its tolerance analysis platform 3DCS. The most significant addition across both platforms is the integration of AI-powered co-pilots designed to reduce friction for operators and engineers. In Metrolog V25, the new Copilot assistant provides instant, contextual answers from directly within the application — no need to pause work, open a browser, or call support. In 3DCS, the new AI Knowledge Assistant, delivers natural language responses drawn from the full product documentation library, enabling faster onboarding and reducing the learning curve for new users.

Metrolog V25 introduces:

  • Part Programming without CAD, allowing operators to write measurement routines directly at the CMM using auto type detection and automatic clearance management — without requiring a CAD model on hand.
  • The new Digital Twin for I++ provides a unified simulation environment that adapts to each CMM manufacturer's specificities, giving teams higher confidence before live machine execution and significantly reducing the risk of costly collisions or errors.
  • Smarter decisions, earlier in the process

Metrolog platforms ships with a fully redesigned interface featuring light and dark themes, optimized contrast ratios for high-glare environments, and a harmonized icon system — directly addressing the reality that quality teams work in demanding environments where readability and reduced visual fatigue matter.

Additions to 3DCS:

  • The new DVM Scalable Monte Carlo & Assembly Modeling module brings production-grade variation analysis to engineering teams who previously needed specialist expertise to run it.
  • The new Drive to Nominal feature goes one step further: engineers input measured production data, and the software calculates exactly which fixture locators need to be adjusted — and by how much — replacing days of manual trial-and-error with a data-driven recommendation.

Metrologic DCS will showcase the full Quality Intelligence Suite at IMTS 2026 in Chicago, September 14th to 19th, booth 134728.
