The Digital Innovation Days will bring plastics industry specialists and managers to Würzburg on 28 and 29 September 2026. Organised by SKZ, the event will examine digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence and practical approaches to implementing digitalisation projects.

With the Digital Innovation Days on September 28 and 29, 2026 in Würzburg, SKZ is creating a new platform for everyone who wants to actively help shape the digital transformation of the plastics industry. The focus will be on practical solutions, strategic approaches and the potential of digitalization, especially in the current economically challenging environment.

Digitalization and artificial intelligence are changing industrial value creation at a speed that was barely imaginable until recently. Those who want to remain competitive in the future need to understand which technologies truly create added value and how they can be successfully integrated into operational practice. The event is aimed at specialists and managers from industry, production, IT, development and management who are looking for guidance for their digital future.

The program starts with the topic of digital infrastructure, presents concrete practical examples and provides authentic insights into real projects as well as valuable inspiration for developing individual digitalization strategies. Another focus is on the digital tools and solutions that are already available for the plastics industry today.
