Cumsa Double-ejection systems suit medium, large moulds
Spain – Cumsa has introduced an extended range of double-ejection systems, including new SX and SY sizes, which are adaptable to a variety of medium and large mould sizes, the company says.
In the SX256062 system, the set of ejector plates pulls up together, then the rear plates stop and the upper plates continue to the full ejection stroke. As the assembly of the superior plate separator units is not in the centre of the mould, but within the ejector frame, the space required for installation is drastically reduced, Cumsa claims. It adds that the system has been developed for medium/large tools. It can also be used to control two-stage opening of the tool. In the SY327054 system, the upper ejector plate stops at the core plate, and the rear plate continues its travel until it reaches the upper plate.
