Yamazaki Mazak will demonstrate its continued investment in new technologies at Euroblech 2026 (20-23 October), showcasing the complete process from laser cutting to bending alongside three new machines.

Making its European debut at Euroblech, the Optiplex Ez-L pairs a 6 kW laser with stable, repeatable performance on thin to medium-thickness materials, built for daily production. As an addition to the wider Optiplex Ez range, it stands out with a newly engineered body, Smoothcut resonator and redesigned cutting head, lifting performance while keeping the price competitive.

Ease of use and shopfloor efficiency were key factors in the machine’s development: wide-opening front and side doors speed up loading and unloading, while the 21.5” Mazatrol SmoothLX CNC offers clear nested-layout views and straightforward operation.

The Optiplex Ez-L also inherits a new-generation nozzle system from Mazak's higher-end platforms. Combined with Grand Cut and Smoothcut, it improves cutting stability and gas utilisation, helping to enhance process stability while reducing operating costs. Compatibility with Mazak's automation for loading and unloading allows users to expand productivity as production requirements increase.

The model on display at Euroblech will be equipped with a CSS 3015e automation system that, in combination with the laser machine, delivers enhanced productivity by increasing beam-on time and enables lights-out operation. Together, this can improve machine utilisation from 50-60 percent to 80-85 percent.

The second new machine to be showcased at Euroblech will be the Optiplex 3015 HP. Designed for fast, stable processing of thick materials, the new-generation Optiplex HP series combines high-power fibre-laser performance with consistent edge quality. Its 20 kW Mazak Smoothcut resonator extends cutting capability across a broad range of materials without compromising process stability.

The machine also incorporates Mazak Grand Cut technology with Enhanced Beam Control, which automatically optimises beam characteristics to suit different materials and thicknesses. For the laser user, this enables superior edge quality with reduced bevel angles and improved cut stability by up to four times compared with conventional cutting methods.

The Optiplex HP also features a 21.5” touchscreen display for programming, wide-opening doors for easy loading and unloading, and an integrated nozzle camera that allows the operator to check the nozzle position while viewing the operation screen.

Also on display will be the FG-400 Neo built for large-scale heavy-duty structural tube processing. The FG-400 Neo can process round material up to Ø406 mm and square sections up to 305 × 305 mm, with workpieces up to 8.07 m long, covering cutting, bevelling, drilling and tapping in one system.

Its Variable Beam Mode resonator precisely controls power density to increase cutting speed. In operation, the technology reduces cutting times by 33 percent for mild-steel square pipes and H-beams using oxygen assist gas, and by up to 43 percent for mild-steel square pipes and 49 percent for stainless-steel square pipes using nitrogen assist gas.
