Configurators, CAD data and material selection tools are now grouped by application in Meusburger’s redesigned portal areas for mould and die designers. Users can configure components, download models and, when logged in, check net prices and delivery times.

When designing mould bases and stamping dies, the fast availability of information, the right components and efficient digital tools are crucial. This is why Meusburger has brought together in their portal the content and functions that are especially relevant for designers. In the redesigned areas for mould making and die making, users can find configurators, CAD tools and also practical information and support for various design tasks, all in one place.

The areas for designers organise the digital resources available by application area. In the mould making area users will find, among other things, configurators for entire mould bases, hot runner systems, ejectors and guiding elements. For die making, Meusburger offers configurators for entire die sets, plates, blocks for eroding, guide pillars, and cutting elements, among others. Solutions for individual design steps are also available. The material selection wizard is there to help when choosing the right material for a specific application, and plates can be configured step by step according to customised parameters with the plate configurator. The label configurator enables the fast creation of custom labels.

Finish configuration and move straight to the next step

The configurators guide the user in a structured manner through the selection of the required parameters. An intuitive display and 3D previews help in the selection of the right variation. Once the configuration is complete, the corresponding CAD data is immediately available for integration into the design. At the same time, users who have logged into the portal also receive immediate information on the net price and delivery times. This helps design tasks to be completed more efficiently and configured components to be integrated into existing projects without additional work steps.

Meusburger CAD tool for efficient design

Regardless of the CAD system in use, the Meusburger CAD tool supports efficient design. It is compatible with various CAD systems and can be flexibly integrated into existing workflows. The user has direct access to the Meusburger standard parts library and can use the tool both online and offline. Regular updates ensure the latest data. Configurable models, including installation space, as well as integrated wizards for mould bases and die sets support the design process.

Supporting structured design processes

Alongside configurators and CAD solutions, Meusburger also offers a specifications document template for mould and die making. The template, developed by design experts, helps to systematically identify relevant requirements and prepare the selection of suitable components. With the areas for designers, Meusburger brings together digital tools, product information and practical resources for a range of tasks in mould and die making.
