Hasco is making a substantial investment in modernizing production at its headquarters in Lüdenscheid. With a new production concept for standard plates, a modern machine park and optimized processes, the company is laying the foundations for more competitive production in Germany. Customers are at the heart of this approach, as Markus Büngers, CEO of Hasco, emphasizes: “Everything we do starts with the customer. Every process, every innovation and every decision has one clear objective: to create genuine added value – with maximum clarity, speed and simplicity.”

At the heart of the realignment is a modernized production concept for standard plates, special plates and standard bars. Production is being consistently geared toward efficient workflows, optimized material flow, short transport routes and high availability. Hasco is relying on high-quality stress relieve steels and modern manufacturing technologies.

A key element of the modernization is the transformation of the machine park. The new equipment enables high-performance, flexible production of a wide range of plates, and standard bars. By expanding in-house production, more products can be manufactured directly in Lüdenscheid. At the same time, production and transport routes are shortened, while processes, materials and machines are used efficiently. The investment therefore strengthens the competitiveness of the site and creates the conditions for cost-effective production – even when requirements for quality, flexibility and delivery speed are high. For customers, this means greater availability and shorter response times.

For its production, Hasco relies on high-quality stress relieve steels that meet the demanding requirements of tool and moldmaking. The modernized concept covers a wide variety of dimensions and versions of plates and bars. The combination of high-quality materials, modern machines and optimized processes provides the basis for the consistently high Hasco quality customers have come to expect. “Our commitment to this site is a commitment to the highest quality and excellence,” says Axel Maerevoet, EVP Operations & Logistics at Hasco, summarizing the transformation project.

With this modernization, Hasco is making a clear commitment to Germany as a production location. Lüdenscheid remains the company’s central manufacturing site and provides the foundation for reliably supplying customers around the world. The modernization therefore combines two objectives: high-performance, cost-effective production in Germany and a clear focus on the needs of customers worldwide.
