According to Iscar, the double margin provides stable drilling and is recommended for use on interrupted cut and slant hole exit situations.

Additionally, Iscar’s ICP/K-2M is said to provide improved hole cylindricity of up to 0.05 mm and enhanced surface finish of up to 1.6 µm Ra. The ICP/K-2M range also represents the ideal solution for high-quality, accurate pre-hole cutting, prior to reaming operations, the company adds.
