Open Mind Technologies AG releases the latest 2020.2 version of its Hypermill CAD/CAM suite. The developers at Open Mind have implemented numerous functions to further simplify everyday machining tasks

Open Mind Technologies has announced that Ramco Machine, LLC is helping the future of space exploration by using Hypermill CAM software and 5-axis machining to make parts for a NASA satellite mission.

At this year’s event, the industry leading CAD/CAM vendor will also provide manufacturers an opportunity to witness the steps that Hypermill has taken with its latest release, Version 2020.1.

Version 2020.1 of the Hypermill CAD/CAM suite is now available. Enhancements are to programming tasks, and also to make machining quicker and simpler.

Version 2020.1 will be revealed for the first time at the Open Mind booth at Metav. Here is a peak at the new functionalities and improvements coming with the new version.

The optional module “Optimizer” for Hypermill from Open Mind aims to improve machining processes via digital twin, promising to calculate the most efficient movements for multi-axis machining.

Oen Mind Technologies was very pleased with the level of interest of the company's mould and tool making solutions received at the recently held Moulding Expo.
