Efficient temperature regulation is a decisive factor in mould making, with a direct impact on component quality, cycle times and process stability. Meusburger supports this area with a broad portfolio of temperature regulation components, including coupling technology, core cooling solutions, hose lines, connections and accessories.

A suitable coupling system is particularly important for reliable and fast mould changeovers. Meusburger offers coupling systems for different temperature ranges and installation requirements, with products available directly from stock. The mono coupler range includes brass versions for standard applications, stainless steel variants and low-leakage couplers for more demanding cleanroom environments. Automatic safety hose couplers are also available for high-temperature applications. According to the company, all couplers are equipped with high-quality, temperature-resistant seals designed to ensure a long service life. A wide range of solutions are available for efficient core cooling, that enable precise temperature regulation and make a significant contribution to high component quality and short cycle times. Designers can choose the ideal solution for their application from an extensive range that encompasses baffles and spiral cores through to fountains. A particular highlight is the fountain E 21100, developed in-house by Meusburger.

Deflection elements and accessories

An extensive range of accessories completes the temperature regulation systems from Meusburger. These include sealing plugs with and without threads in brass and stainless steel, as well as threaded fittings for a wide range of applications. The range is complemented by sophisticated in-house developments such as special elbow fittings. The range also offers suitable solutions in the area of sealing technology – O-rings made from FKM or high temperature O-ring seals made from FKM Plus, each adjusted to the specific operating conditions.
