Machining centres Mazak brings integrated machining and automation to AMB 2026

Yamazaki Mazak is preparing to return for AMB 2026 (15–19 September), where it will demonstrate how manufacturers can unlock greater productivity, flexibility and resilience through smarter process integration, advanced automation and secure connectivity.

Taking place in Stuttgart, the show will see Mazak present seven machining solutions that reflect the breadth of its technology portfolio, and three automation systems including the debut of a new compact pallet automation solution for the European market. Key exhibits on the company’s stand will include several models from the company’s flagship Integrex range of multi-tasking machining centres.

Developed in response to growing demand for integrated solutions for flexible and efficient production among both new and seasoned multi-tasking users, the latest innovations are the result of more than four decades of industry-leading insight from Mazak.

Featured on the stand will be the Integrex i-250ST Neo, equipped with Mazak’s newly launched advanced grinding package. By combining turning, milling and grinding in a single set-up, the machine enables manufacturers to reduce cycle times while improving surface finish and dimensional accuracy.

Also featured will be Mazak’s first Integrex range that is now being manufactured in its European factory for the European market – the j-200S Neo. Ideally suited for general subcontract work, as well as the aerospace, energy and medical industries, this range – which features a second spindle – offers a productivity upgrade for turret lathe users looking to increase profitability by reducing set-up and lead times.

Visitors to the exhibition will also be among the first to see in live action a new compact pallet automation system aimed at delivering a simple and accessible entry point into 5-axis automation for high-mix, low-volume production environments.

The solution will be integrated with a second-generation CV5-500 5-axis machining centre. This new model benefits from an optimised machine structure to enhance static and dynamic rigidity, resulting in greater performance, accuracy and thermal stability, as well as a refreshed design from renowned industrial designer Ken Okuyama.

Cross-sector machining solutions for small and large-scale production

Mazak’s AMB stand will also highlight several compact, high-productivity machines designed to deliver a strong return on investment for savvy buyers looking to invest in reliable technology that is supported through a strong European service network. This includes the QRX-50 MSY turning centre, which features a twin-spindle, double-turret construction to deliver fast ROI and improved margins. The machine on display at AMB will be fitted with a barfeed automation system to showcase one of the easiest ways to start an automation journey. Alongside this will be the VC-Ez 410 IP 40-taper vertical machining centre, which offers entry-level pricing for high-volume manufacturing applications through a combination of class-leading spindle technology, rapid speeds and intuitive machine control.

The company’s highly popular Solutions Centre will also be present at AMB, complete with three machine simulators demonstrating its world-leading Smooth CNC technology and Mazak I-Connect M2M digital service connecting all machines throughout the show. Mazak I-Connect features an integrated real-time monitoring tool to identify anomalies early to support minimised downtime. In addition, Fast Track support, delivered via secure remote access, enables rapid diagnostics and efficient operational assistance.
