Berg Spanntechnik is optimizing its production operations with Haimer’s Microset VIO linear tool presetter. The system delivers precise measurement results and enables a continuous flow of data.

Berg Spanntechnik manufactures modular clamping systems for metal-cutting and forming machine tools. The company distinguishes between four application areas: tool clamping, workpiece clamping, special applications and forming technology. Sales Manager Christian Wenge explains: “We are specialists in sophisticated clamping technology that cannot be bought off the shelf. We manufacture almost exclusively customized solutions designed specifically for each customer’s particular application.” Accordingly, Berg clamping systems range from small to large and are used in medical and energy technology, the automotive industry, general mechanical engineering and many other sectors.
