Uniloy will present its all-electric UCS 14.ED continuous extrusion shuttle blow moulding machine at Plast 2026, taking place in Milan from 9 to 12 June 2026. Visitors can find the company in Hall 22, Booth A131 – B136. The machine highlights the company’s focus on energy efficiency, sustainability and advanced manufacturing technology.

The UCS 14.ED on display is a double-station shuttle machine with 14 tonnes of clamping force, a 525 mm carriage stroke and a Uniloy M40 extrusion head configured for the production of HDPE containers in 4+4 cavitation. Designed with one of the smallest footprints in its class, the machine offers good accessibility through large safety doors, simplifying production setup, mould changes, maintenance and service operations. An electrically driven 2D take-out system and linear conveyor further support operational efficiency and ease of use.

The machine is fully industry 4.0-ready via the OPC-UA communication protocol, enabling remote connectivity through wired or wireless networks for production monitoring, auxiliary-system integration, diagnostics and maintenance. The advanced Uni-Smart control platform provides a modern, intuitive and highly customisable interface for faster machine setup and comprehensive process management.

In addition to the machine itself, Uniloy will introduce several new solutions designed to enhance productivity and customer support. These include a newly developed integrated machine vision system with multiple high-definition cameras installed inside the machine enclosure. The system allows operators and service engineers to monitor the production process and machine operation remotely in real time, improving diagnostics, shortening response times and strengthening after-sales technical support.

Visitors will also see a newly developed container leak-testing unit connected to the machine. Engineered and manufactured based on Uniloy’s blow moulding expertise, the system represents a new family of inspection, quality-control and trimming devices, expanding the company’s portfolio towards fully integrated production and quality-assurance solutions.

Uniloy will also exhibit one of its latest extrusion developments: a 70 mm diameter, 30 L/D extruder designed to process up to 100 percent post-consumer recycled material. Equipped with an advanced induction heating system, the extruder offers improved thermal efficiency, precise temperature control and reduced maintenance requirements, while supporting manufacturers in achieving their sustainability objectives.
