With a new turn-milling centre, Okuma will make a trade fair debut in the UK. The range presented at the stand of the Japanese company also comprises a vertical machining centre and Industry 4.0 applications.

Germany — Makino Europe has appointed Bert Kleinmann new Managing Director of Makino GmbH. With decades of management experience in the CNC machine tool manufacturing sector, Bert Kleinmann brings vast knowledge from the industry.

From the 4th to the 8th of April, Open Mind Technologies will once again be returning to the Mach exhibition at the Birmingham NEC, giving its exhibition premiere to the latest version of its Hypermill CAD/CAM software.

At Mach 2022 in Birmingham, Lantek will be demonstrating how manufacturers can automate and control the whole of their business, by analysing their machinery and customer KPIs by digitising their factory.

UK — With the pandemic, World Skills UK has had to be creative in staging the UK National Finals for over 60 different competitions involving more than 400 young students.

At the forthcoming Mach 2022 exhibition, Dugard Machine Tools will be showcasing a raft of new machines — many of which will be receiving their exhibition debuts. From the 4th to the 8th of April on Stand 640 in Hall 20, Dugard will be introducing no fewer than four new machine tools on its stand.

Germany — Creaform has joined the partner network of the German Association of Pattern and Mould Making (BVMF) on 1 January 2022. The company expects the membership to lead to an exchange with its members in order to establish the topic of certified and portable 3D scanning as an innovative tool for pattern and mould making.
