At this year’s IMTS Show, Verisurf Software is demonstrating a universal approach to measurement and inspection. The company’s software provides measurement and inspection workflows with inspection plans that can be created once and used across the manufacturing enterprise on any portable or fixed CMM.

Embedded Verisurf productivity tools enhance and automate workflows, which shorten inspection and reporting time, help reduce errors, support workforce development, and ensure continuity necessary for repeatable process control during inspection, reverse engineering, and tool building applications.
According to the company, Verisurf is the only inspection and measurement software built on a full-featured 3D CAD platform and is committed to intelligent Model-Based Definition (MBD). This lets users perform measurement and inspection workflows in a seamless CAD environment and maintains model-based digital continuity. Universal compatibility of the software with all fixed and portable CMMs, and all CAD file formats provide extensible solutions across the manufacturing enterprise.
At IMTS, Verisurf is demonstrating a variety of process-driven measurement and inspection solutions, including the automated creation of AS9102 first article inspection reports in just minutes; CMM programming, including support for Renishaw PH20 and Revo 5-axis solutions; portable first article shop floor inspection solution; inspection and reporting using a portable CNC CMM; tool building and inspection using a laser tracker; 3D scanning and inspection; and a reverse engineering solution.
