MHS Hot runner systems supplier posts record year in 2016
Canada – Last year was a record year for the global supplier of automated injection moulding solutions, Mold Hotrunner Solutions (MHS). Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, the company, which specialises in valve gate hot runner systems, reports a growth in revenue by 40%. Furthermore, MHS has recently increased its workforce in North America by 25% to meet strong customer demand in the medical, automotive, packaging and appliance sectors.
In 2017 MHS will continue to drive growth in both established and emerging markets around the globe with a focus on design simplicity and absolute reliability for automated injection moulding solutions, the hot runner specialist said. The company invested heavily in R&D and manufacturing upgrades during the past decade and the result is a portfolio of new products and approaches to valve gating that feature compact design, offer more processing control and require less mould maintenance. The company’s new flagship line of valve gate hot runners, for example, can operate directly inside the mould at temperatures of up to 450°C without any actuator cooling and without o-rings, lubricants or cylinder wear, MHS explained.
