Joint product line, further synergies

On the product level, the synergies have already resulted in the first tangible results. Operating on the principle, Designed by Berkenhoff – Made in China, the Sino-German partners are launching a new, joint EDM product line in the mid-range segment. It will initially be distributed in Asia and the USA under the brand label "boline".

Berkenhoff boss Duhnke expects further synergies particularly in the ELAS division. "Particularly with electronics manufacturers and automotive suppliers, many customer-specific solutions are used. Our bedra wires are in high demand here as primary products. We are currently shifting the production capacities for the end products in these segments significantly towards Asia. There is great potential here in bundling Berkenhoff's product expertise with the distribution capabilities of Boway on the ground."
