Tactotek has announced that ARRK SPG Pre-Series Tooling and Prototyping, part of the ARRK Corporation, has joined its In-Mold Structural Electronics (IMSE) ecosystem as a licensee. With the agreement, ARRK SPG becomes part of the global network of manufacturers licensed to apply IMSE technology.

ARRK SPG is an established development partner for customers in the automotive, lighting and industrial sectors. Through the partnership, the company adds its pre-series tooling and prototyping capabilities to the IMSE ecosystem, supporting the further adoption of the technology in Europe. According to Tactotek, IMSE is designed to accommodate design changes and evolving requirements throughout the product development process, a feature that aligns with ARRK SPG’s focus on rapid prototyping, pre-series production and low-volume manufacturing.

IMSE technology enables the integration of electronic functions such as lighting, touch controls and circuit structures directly into thin, three-dimensional injection-moulded components. This approach allows functional elements to be combined within structural surfaces, offering new design options for applications requiring compact, lightweight and functionally integrated components.

“We are pleased to welcome ARRK SPG as an IMSE licensee,” said Sami Hyyryläinen, Senior Vice President, Licensing, Strategic Sales and Markets Expansion at Tactotek. “ARRK SPG’s exceptional expertise and reputation for providing innovative and sustainable solutions provide an ideal foundation for leveraging IMSE technology among their well-established customer base in Europe. We are delighted to have them on board and are confident they will soon position themselves as a state-of-the-art IMSE manufacturer.”

“Partnering with Tactotek aligns perfectly with our commitment to supporting customers with future-ready technologies,” added Roy Joosten, Senior Project Manager at ARRK SPG. “IMSE offers powerful advantages for design expression, integration, and production efficiency. With our strong expertise, we are ready to support brands throughout their development journey and prepare them for industrial-scale production of next-generation smart surfaces. We look forward to helping our customers realize the full potential of IMSE technology in a wide range of applications.”
