3Dfindit.com by Cadenas is a visual search engine with more almost 5,000 manufacturer catalogues, 121 CAD formats and 24 million of potential users. With its intelligent search functions, free CAD & BIM data download and new improved interface, it is one of the biggest platforms for architects, planners, engineers and designers.

A variety of different download formats are now available: Soldiworks, Autodesk Revit, Allplan, ArchiCAD, Autodesk Inventor, NX, Solid Edge, PTC Creo Parametric, AutoCAD, Catia and many more.

Thanks to a filter, search results can be narrowed down with just a few clicks. Starting from a basic shape of the needed component, the search results can be narrowed down step by step. The parameters can be adjusted directly in the 3D preview until the visible model corresponds to the searched component. If the 2D sketch search returns too many search results, a subsequent color search can be used to further narrow down the number of results.

By uploading an existing geometry, the available manufacturer catalogs can be searched for geometrically similar standard and purchased parts. The 3D preview of 3Dfindit.com is a helpful tool with numerous possibilities: make changes to the dimensions of the component directly in the viewer, create sections for better evaluation or determine additionally required values with the measurement function.
