According to the company, it delivers major performance and precision gains at real speed, thanks to expanded AI-powered assistance, and workflow enhancements designed for the most demanding CNC environments.

Vericut Icam Post V27 focuses on improving the everyday experience of developing, testing and maintaining post-processors. The release introduces AI-powered assistance, streamlined debugging, enhanced validation tools and a more intuitive user experience.
The new Vericut Icam Post AI Assistant provides immediate access to trusted product knowledge directly inside Quest and Gener. Grounded in official Icam Post documentation, the assistant helps users find answers, check macro syntax, and access product guidance without leaving their workflow.
Icam Post V27 also introduces a new Regression Testing Utility that helps teams compare NC output before and after changes, identify machine-impacting differences, and validate updates before deployment. This is particularly valuable when upgrading software, modifying post-processors, or working with updated CAM output.
Additional improvements include enhanced debugging workflows through Breakpoint Manager and Macro Manager, improved runtime visibility for programs of any size, enhanced documentation and search, per-view Virtual Machine controls, simplified display management, faster stock-difference calculations, greater kinematics visibility, and advanced Smartpath motion control.
