U.S.-based Boride Engineered Abrasives manufactures polishing and grinding abrasives, and super-abrasive products including dressing sticks for PCD, CBN, resin and metal bond diamond wheels. The company now offers a standard line for its popular dressing sticks. Borides says the dressing sticks, made of aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abrasive with Boride's vitrified bond, are engineered for dressing and cleaning super-abrasive wheels. Each stick is free-cutting and load-resistant with Boride's advanced, fine-grit technology and is ideal for precision applications.
“High performance dressing sticks have been a part of our product offering for many years, but we catered to more custom specific orders,” says Karl Meszaros, Boride's Account and Product Manager. He noted that the new standard line of its most popular sizes and grits is available through its website and wide distributor network.
