Plastics manufacturer Covestro has developed a new process for recycling polycarbonate, i.e. multi-chain plastics. In this process, plastics are converted back into their monomers, i.e. a precursor of plastics, so that they can be fed back into the production process as alternative raw materials.

Germany — After four eventful trade fair days Metav 2022 closed its gates on the 24th of June. By Friday afternoon over 180 exhibitors attracted to the tune of some 3500 trade visitors. Around 22 percent came from abroad, mostly from Europe.

The 5th IIMC — International Injection Moulding Conference organised by the IKV in Aachen, Germany, is approaching and the programme is already well filled with expert lectures from industry and science.
