At Equiplast 2026, Arburg will present itself as a full-service partner for efficient plastics processing. Together with Moretto and HB-Therm, the company will showcase integrated solutions spanning injection moulding, automation, peripheral equipment and digital services, with the new electric Allrounder Trend and Gestica lite control system taking centre stage.

At K 2025, Arburg presented Gestica lite, a new, easy-to-use control variant for standard injection moulding machines.

Marking its 10th anniversary at Plastpol, 1. Plastcompany will showcase Boy injection moulding machines for applications ranging from micro parts to fully automated production. The presentation highlights compact machine design, precise processing, low energy consumption and the growing role of integrated handling solutions.

Compact machines, broad application range: At Kuteno 2026, Dr. Boy will present the Boy XS E and Boy 35 Electric with live demonstrations ranging from spork production to reusable cable ties. The exhibits underline how precision, accessibility and modern drive technology support efficient micro and small-part injection moulding.

With exhibitors from more than 30 countries, live machinery demonstrations and a strong conference programme, Plastpol 2026 aims to strengthen its role as a key business platform for the global plastics industry.

With around 3,750 visitors from 44 countries, the Arburg Technology Days 2026 once again highlighted their role as a key meeting point for plastics processors. More than 40 machine exhibits in Lossburg demonstrated the breadth of the Arburg Solution World, from electric injection moulding machines and automation to digital services and turnkey solutions.

Wittmann is aligning its management structure more closely with its “It’s all Wittmann” strategy. From May 1, 2026, owners Michael Wittmann and Dr. Werner Wittmann will jointly lead the group’s injection moulding, automation and auxiliary equipment divisions, while Rainer Weingraber will leave the company at the end of April.

With effect from 1 January 2026, Ben Mechelmans is the new Managing Director for the Arburg subsidiary in Belgium. At 25 years of age, he represents a breath of fresh air, innovation and new perspectives, which he intends to bring to Arburg N.V., located in Molenstede. At the same time, he stands for continuity in terms of future priorities in the Belgian market.

With a planned majority stake in LWB Steinl, Shibaura Machine is expanding its footprint in Germany and Europe. The partnership combines Shibaura’s global injection moulding know-how with LWB’s specialization in vertical machines and automation.
