The five to seven CNC-driven axes of the machine measure every type of metal cutting tool with precision, ranging from measuring the outer contours through to extensive documentation. The company adds that the vibration-reduced base is designed to fit further axes and sensors so that, for example, cutting edge preparations can be measured repeatedly, without the need of an operator.
