SDKs for CNC and Additive Manufacturing Latest software development kits on display at IMTS
At IMTS, Machine Works will be displaying the latest releases of the Machine Works SDK for CNC Simulation and Polygonica mesh modelling SDK for additive manufacturing.
This year, Machine Works will be exhibiting at IMTS for the ninth time — but it is the first time the company has not exhibited in the Controls & CAD/CAM area of the exhibition. Instead the booth is located in the Additive Manufacturing area.
The Machine Works 8.4 release contains a range of new functionality useful for optimising non-graphical verification of toolpaths, including computation of safe tool-holder profiles and faster collision calculations through collision-check buffering.
Previews of the upcoming Polygonica 3.2 release will also be available, including:
- Deformation compensation for Additive Manufacturing
- 3D Medial Axis (mid-surface) computation
- Mesh-mesh registration for accurate alignment
- Preservation of small features during remeshing
