Milling and drilling tools Japanese tool manufacturer expands direct sales in Austria
Austria — Japanese tool manufacturer Moldino, is expanding its direct sales activities in Austria. In the medium term, the company plans to expand its team of process optimisers to six people.
The milling and drilling tools from Moldino are now also available for direct sales in Austria. The company plans to expand its team, consisting of two process optimisers for Upper Austria and Tyrol, with a further team member for the Vorarlberg region.
Karsten Baas, Team Leader Sales with responsibility for Austria. “Our mid-term planning envisages five to six process optimisers. We will therefore soon be moving into new offices in Wels/Upper Austria, which will open up even better opportunities for us to comprehensively and competently serve the Austrian market.” Apart from tools, the services offered to Austrian customers includes the Production50 manufacturing concept. This concept describes the holistic view of production processes in machining. Its aim is to design production processes in such a way that moulds and dies are produced faster and therefore more efficiently.
Existing customers in Austria include renowned companies such as ACH solution, Welser Profile Austria and Your-Tool.
Moldino Tool Engineering became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mitsubishi Group in 2020. Up until March 2020, the Japanese tool manufacturer operated under the name Mitsubishi Hitachi Tool Engineering. The new company name Moldino — a combination of the words ‘Mold’ & ‘Die’ + ‘Innovation’ — emphasizes the focus on mould and die making.
