With the advent of 3D printing technology, IPFL saw an opportunity to expand its capabilities and offer customers an even wider range of services. 20 years later, the 3D printing division has become an integral part of the company's operations, providing clients with the latest in additive manufacturing technology.
“We are incredibly proud to have reached this milestone and to have established ourselves as a leading provider of 3D printing services,” said Adam Bloomfield, Additive Director of IPFL and a third-generation Bloomfield since the company's creation in 1969. “Our 3D printing division has allowed us to expand our capabilities and provide our clients with an even wider range of solutions for their manufacturing needs.”
IPFL’s 3D printing services offer a range of benefits to clients, including the ability to create complex designs that would be difficult or impossible to produce using traditional machining techniques. With Polyjet, SLS, MJF, FDM, SLA, and micro 3D printing capabilities, the company can produce parts with a high level of accuracy and precision, while also reducing lead times and costs.
“3D printing has revolutionised the manufacturing industry, and we are excited to be at the forefront of this technology," said Bloomfield. "Our team of experienced engineers and technicians are always exploring new ways to use 3D printing to improve our clients' products and processes.”
