By examining these aspects, potentials of improvement are determined and listed as strengths and weaknesses. These are presented for various aspects of the company and summarised for both the organisational and technological perspective.

Based on these identified strengths and weaknesses, the necessary fields of action are derived. Each field of action contains a brief description of the underlying weaknesses, a rating for the urgency of action and effort for implementation as well as recommended actions to tackle the defined weaknesses. Additionally, each field of action is accompanied by an explanation and illustration of the underlying theoretical concept as well as implemented best-practice examples.
