Boride Engineered Abrasives has expanded its product range to include Pink Mounted Points to complement its existing range of Blue, Red and Premium Purple Points. Manufactured in the USA, the new mounted points are made from pink aluminium oxide alloyed with chrome.

Mounted points can be used in many different applications for material removal, roughing, blending, deburring and finishing.

These mounted points are designed to be durable and tough, suitable for use on tool steels and hardened alloys. They offer a sharp cutting action and are described as cool cutting, meaning they are less likely to stress during use.

The Pink Mounted Points are available in 15 industry-standard sizes and offer two shank options: either a 1/8" or 3 mm shank. The product is also available in two kits for cost savings.

Lesley Murphy, Boride's Marketing and Sales Manager, noted that mounted points have a wide range of applications. They can be used for material removal, roughing, blending, deburring and finishing.

The addition of Pink Mounted Points aims to provide Boride's customer base with a more diverse array of tools and solutions. The new product is expected to meet a variety of abrasive needs across a range of industries.
