The Mono-Plastic-Drill is particularly suited for use with PEEK, POM or PA 6, and other materials with characteristics that make drilling difficult, such as low thermal conductivity and low melting temperature.

This drill has special features including an extremely sharp blade and special point thinning which enables bore tolerances of up to IT7. It is made of uncoated solid carbide and has a large, polished chip flute to facilitate optimal heat dissipation. The drill is claimed to have exceptional rigidity and wear resistance characteristics.

The solid carbide drill delivers high performance even in dry drilling conditions; the geometry and chip flute prevent smearing of the material. The Mono-Plastic-Drill can also be used to machine aluminum parts. It is available with a diameter range of 0.97 to 13.03 mm and lengths of up to five times its diameter.
