Birth of the Red Goddess

One colour, one sound, one legend! On 12th March 1947, Enzo Ferrari sat down in his Ferrari 125 S for the first time and turned on the V-12 engine with an engine displacement of 1.5 l. The "Red Goddess" was born. What many people do not know is that the Ferrari 125 S was not the first car produced by Ferrari. It is "only" the first one with his name. The reason for that can be found in the modern "Ferrari Myth".

HyperMILL and the conical barrel cutter

Oen Mind Technologies was very pleased with the level of interest of the company's mould and tool making solutions received at the recently held Moulding Expo. Visitors at the trade fair who hadn’t yet heard about the optimisation options available with 5-axis tangent plane machining were able to learn more about this solution at its booth, where a large model of a conical barrel cutter was on exhibit.

New six-edged milling

Horn has developed the DA62, a new milling system for corner, face and plunge milling. This system uses a six-edged indexable insert. Both sides of the insert can be used and it has three axial and radial cutting edges on each side.
