Japan — In late March, Japanese machine manufacturer Jeol launched their Electron Beam Metal AM Machine JAM-5200EBM. Using technology of a powerful electron microscope and an electron beam lithography system for semiconductor manufacturing, the company has developed an electron beam metal AM machine with high power, density and speed.

UK — Manufacturer and supplier of tools for the metal cutting industry, Dormer Pramet, has upgraded its flagship PVD grade T8330 with a new coating generation, providing increased durability and performance.

Germany — Oliver Stiegen has taken over leadership of Ensinger’s Injection Moulding division. The 48-year-old mechanical engineer comes from Swedish SKF Group to the German plastics processor.
