Following its 2025 edition in Hanover, EMO, the world’s leading exhibition for the metalworking industry, will return to Milan from 4 to 8 October 2027. Organised by Ucimu–Sistemi Per Produrre and promoted by CECIMO, EMO Milano 2027 will present the latest global innovations in machine tools, robotics, automation, additive manufacturing, and digital technologies.

EMO Hannover 2025 demonstrated how artificial intelligence, digitalization and sustainable technologies are reshaping industrial production — from autonomous manufacturing systems and AI-supported process optimization to energy-efficient, data-driven factories.

At EMO 2025, Open Mind Technologies drew strong interest with live turn-milling demos and automation solutions powered by Hypermill. Highlights included the Hypermill Automation Center, Virtual Machining, and Hummingbird-MES — showcasing the company’s focus on connected and efficient manufacturing.

For five days, Hannover became the global hub of production technology as EMO 2025 welcomed 80,000 visitors and 1,600 exhibitors. With automation, robotics, AI and sustainability in focus, the world’s leading metalworking trade fair once again set the pace for the future of manufacturing.

With the Alliance Country Canada, EMO 2025 is breaking new ground. Canadian manufacturers, keen to diversify beyond their dominant U.S. market, will present advanced solutions in metalworking, automation and digital manufacturing in Hannover.
