Laser Scanners New managers to advance Scanlabs digitalisation and growth strategy
Laser scanning company Scanlab is expanding its management team at the start of 2022. Two new managing directors throw their support behind the company's digitalisation and growth strategy.
Long-standing head of Finance Dirk Thomas and head of Research & Development Christian Sonner have been newly appointed to the management board of Scanlab. With this experienced, effective team at the helm, the company is charting a course toward continued growth.
Scanlab's CEO, Georg Hofner, has worked for the company since 1995. For around 20 years he has been managing the company’s development. In order to be better positioned to achieve its ambitious goals for its future and growth, the Puchheim-based company is expanding its operative management team with effect from the start of 2022.
Dirk Thomas, head of Finance, has been part of the company's workforce for more than 20 years. As a new managing director, he will be responsible for the Administration, Controlling, Human Resources and the IT department. Currently, the digital transformation is a core element of the future strategy.
R&D director Christian Sonner has also been appointed to the board of managing directors. Christian Sonner has been part of the Scanlab family for nine years; in his new role, he will continue to drive the digitalisation of the company's product portfolio and the development of highly integrated scan systems.
The previous COO, Christian Huttenloher, has left the company to focus on new challenges. The new management team would like to explicitly thank him for his long-standing dedication and collaboration.
