Industrial Tooling Corporation (ITC) has expanded its Big Kaiser EWN Monoblock range of bore machining products. The new additions focus on enhancing productivity and performance. Key to this advancement is the incorporation of Big Kaiser’s Smart Damper technology, which minimizes chatter and reduces cycle times, resulting in improved machining accuracy and quality of surface finish. Specifically, the CK1 and CK2 products in the EWN Monoblock range now support machining of diameters from 20 to 36 mm and 25 to 47 mm respectively. The Smart Damper technology allows for increased metal removal rates without compromising on cutting speeds due to vibration concerns. Giampaolo Roccatello from Big Kaiser emphasised that the new boring heads are optimal for deep, chatter-free boring in tough materials and are among the most advanced tools available.
