Expanding the tests

After the extremely good results, a total of six different typical carbide grades were subjected to a comprehensive range of tests. Being a carbide specialist, Bräm wanted to be able to individually recommend ideal carbide grades to customers according to their needs. They needed to understand the requirements of specific uses and the machinability of every material. The results of the tests have allowed the shop to respond to what is said to be high interest in this topic. Bräm said many customers are asking if their carbide parts can now be milled. The shop said it will rely on both milling and other processing methods.

In addition, Bram has conducted its first tests with a high-performance ceramic, a task many consider impossible.
