Injection Moulding Deckerform, HRS Flow und Leonhard Kurz join forces for webinar
Our industry can only survive the crisis by joining forces and innovative ideas. Three companies recently joined forces to hold a webinar on plastic injection moulding.
Germany – Themed “The whole is more than the sum of its parts”, a recently held webinar organised by three plastic injection moulding specialists Deckerform, HRSflow and Leonhard Kurz (supported by VDWF, Moulding Expo and K-Zeitung) drew more than 120 attendees. "Covid-19 has shaped the financial year and currently makes it nearly impossible to physically meet customers and partner," Franz Tschacha, Managing Partner of the Deckerform Group of Companies said. “There are two solutions: Either you wait until it's all over – or you think outside the box and innovate. Webinars are an effective, pandemic-compliant tool and the inhibition threshold among organizers and visitors for using online technology is much lower today due to the social constraints and limitations.”
Reflecting the entire supply chain
The webinar reflected the entire supply chain with a focus on technology, Stephan Berz, Vice President Sales at HRSflow, said. “Morover, the time required to participate in online events is significantly less for customers.”
For Johannes Romming, Process and Technology Engineer at Leonhard Kurz underlined the value in joining forces, especially during challenging times like these. “Deckerform and HRSflow are partners with whom we enjoy cooperating. As a result, all three companies are even closer to the market, can create innovative technology together by complementing each other's skills. The high number of participants would probably not have been achieved by each company on its own.”
The mouldmaking and injection moulding industry can only survive the crisis by joining forces and innovative ideas, Tschacha said. “Among other things, this virtual event momentum will move us forward. We have definitely initiated new projects – it's only a matter of time before we get deals."
