Anca appoints new Group CEO

CNC machine manufacturer Anca has announced that Dr Christopher Hegarty will succeed Grant Anderson FCAM as Group CEO.

Hegarty joined Anca in 2017 as Engineering Manager of CNC machines has has recetly been appointed to General Manager of that division.

Pat Boland, Joint Anca Co-Founder said: “Over the next few months, the Anca Leadership Team will be working together to ensure a seamless handover and Anca will remain focused on our strategic goals and continue to delight our customers.”

After completing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.Sc., Hegarty completed his doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He spent five years working for McKinsey and Company in Zurich. He has extensive experience working for machine tool manufacturers in Europe and Australasia, including over fifteen years’ experience as CEO or general manager in other organisations.
