The Wittmann Group is responding to the growing demand for injection moulding technology by establishing its own sales and service subsidiary in North Africa. The company’s new branch is based in Casablanca.

Wittmann Maroc Sarl began operations on 1 September 2025. Redouane Soukrat has been appointed Managing Director. “We are delighted to have gained Mr Soukrat, a highly experienced injection moulding expert who already has excellent connections within the local automotive supply industry,” emphasised Michael Wittmann, owner and CEO of the Austrian Wittmann Group.

Short distances

Morocco’s automotive industry has been growing for several years and plays a key role for the entire African market. Wittmann has been involved in this development from the start. “The new subsidiary builds on many long-standing customer relationships,” said Michael Wittmann. A dedicated spare parts warehouse has been set up in Casablanca to provide local service support. In addition, the branch includes a showroom where customers can explore and test a wide range of the machinery manufacturer’s products and technologies.

Among Redouane Soukrat’s top priorities is expanding the network of qualified service technicians in the region.
