Asco Sensitive tool cleaning with Asco's dry ice blasting machine
The new generation of dry ice blasting machines by Asco is aimed at applications where efficient and gentle cleaning is required. The Asco Nanojet has been developed for the plastics industry, but is suitable for other applications as well.
One advantage of the Asco Nanojet is the integrated pellet grinder, Asco says. The ice pellets are chrushed into the finest dry ice particles, which means that the particles blasted on the surface are much smaller. The cleaning process therefore is precise, fast and consistens, Asco says.
Asco Managing Director Marco Pellegrino explains the advantages: "Cleaning with crushed pellets is more economical because the consumption of dry ice and compressed air are reduced, thus less energy has to be spent on the acceleration of the pellets. Thanks to the greatly reduced compressed air consumption, the Asco Nanojet has a significantly reduced noise level.”
Asco states further that by using the blasting gun again to refine the dry ice even more, cleaning gets more gentle. According to the company, the fine nozzle guarantees that the cleaned surface is not damaged. Another advantage of the dry ice blasting machine is its vertically adjustable handle and the integrated grounding roll, which allows a safe use, as the company says. Other features include the modern frame design, the blue control panel, a newly developed ergonomic blasting gun, and a self-explanatory handling.
Marco Pellegrino is convinced: “Decades of experience and an intensive exchange with customers worldwide allow us to recognize technologies that are required. We now meet these requirements with our new dry ice blasting machine.”
