Clamping large components can become more difficult as machining releases residual stresses. Roemheld’s Stark.spheric zero-point clamping system uses self-adjusting pedestals to accommodate workpiece geometry and allow parts to settle between roughing and finishing while maintaining the height reference.

A 72-cavity application at Fakuma will demonstrate the capabilities of Netstal’s new all-electric Elion 3200 CAP. Producing HDPE beverage closures in 1.8 seconds, the machine is designed to combine high output with process stability and reduced energy consumption.
