At Fakuma 2023, Arburg will be exhibiting nine machines on Stand 3101 in Hall A3, as well as ten other machines on partner stands. One highlight will be the premiere of the Allrounder 520 H.
Following the launch of the new hybrid machine technology with the Allrounder 470 H milestone machine in the spring, the Allrounder 520 H is now celebrating its premiere in the "Premium" performance variant at Fakuma 2023.

Arburg will present nine exhibits as well as ten additional machines on partner stands at Fakuma. In particular, the company will be showcasing the Allrounder 520 H, the latest addition to the hybrid Hidrive series.
The Hidrive series has been updated to optimise energy efficiency and reduce cycle times. The Allrounder 520 H is part of this improved range, following the earlier launch of the 470 H machine, which was launched to celebrate "100 years of the Hehl family company".
The Allrounder 520 H will have a clamping force of 1,500 kN and will demonstrate its capabilities using a 1+1+1 cavity mould to produce three different parts from ABS in around 50 seconds. A Moldlife Sense computer system provides sensor-based monitoring of the mould throughout its lifecycle. The data generated is integrated into the Gestica control system for predictive maintenance.
The Hidrive range integrates an electric clamping unit with a hydraulic injection unit, with the aim of reducing initial investment and operating costs, as well as improving the energy and carbon footprint. A feature of these new hybrid machines is flow splitting, which allows simultaneous movement of hydraulic auxiliary axes. The Allrounder H series is said to have an energy balance that is up to 50 percent better than equivalent hydraulic machines. It also requires less oil and cooling water, offering potential cost and environmental benefits.
The Allrounder 520 H is available in three performance variants: "Comfort", "Premium" and "Ultimate". Each is equipped with the Arburg Servo Hydraulic System (ASH), designed for energy-efficient operation. The machine has also been designed for easier maintenance, with optimised access to oil filters and connections.
By focusing on energy efficiency, reduced cycle times and ease of maintenance, the Allrounder 520 H aims to meet different customer needs while offering a range of operational benefits.
