In times of constantly rising costs combined with mounting demands on the quality of plastics products and the economic efficiency of the processes, efficiency is of major importance in virtually all industrial segments, ranging from automotive and electronics to packaging and medical technology. The conference will demonstrate how advances and new developments in machine and process technology as well as modern methods of process and moulding simulation can improve process efficiency.

Special Report:Better times ahead for Italian tool & mould makers

Energy efficiency and productivity in injection moulding are largely dependent on the design of a machine technology that is geared to the relevant product. Speakers from international companies will deal in a series of papers and presentations with the further development of established drive technologies and their intelligent combination with process data documentation and control. They will take a critical look at the advantages and disadvantages.
