End-users are definitely the focus of interest. The Innovation Planets will illustrate 4 major applicative markets: Aerospace, Construction & Building, Automotive & Land Transportation and Better Living including energy, sustainability, sports and leisure, medical, consumer goods.

Another focus of JEC World 2017 are Startups. JEC World presents a program meant to support startups world wide.

This year, JEC World launches "Startup Booster", a program meant to support and accompany innovations and entrepreneurship in composites (aeronautics, automotive, construction, medical, design, sports and leisure, etc.), a dynamic and growing market that is expected to reach $ 90 bn (in value) by 2020.
