EDM/Automation Zimmer & Kreim celebrates 30th anniversary

Germany - EDM technology and automation solution provider Zimmer & Kreim celebrated its 30th anniversary on 24 September 2015 with an open house at its HQ in Brensbach, Germany.

The weather was beautiful and was a perfect fit for the celebrations which were complemented by many customers, interested visitors, staff and media representatives. Highlight was a guided tour through the company's showroom and assembly area. Industry 4.0., the combination of engineering and modern data networking,was one of the topics during the event.

Zimmer&Kreim was founded in 1985 by Klaus Kreim and Alfred Zimmer with a focus on automation. In the same year they presented their first 12-fold electrode changer for the Erowa ITS 50 system at EMO Hannover.

"Even then we recognised the signs of the time and have consistently pursued this line," said Michael Huth, head of sales and marketing. "Our developments are characterised by the fact that we find solutions especially for small and medium companies on how they can achieve more profitability and efficiency through step-by-step automation of their machines."
