Shorter and more flexible production cycles are forcing companies to reduce the time and cost of production while at the same time improving product quality. KeyToData's combination of its software solutions, Inspection-Xpert On-Demand and Quality-Xpert allow for companies to work paperless from the inspection drawing to the inspection report and thus, achieve high production quality. The former automatically generates ballooned drawings and inspection plans from inspection drawings and models. These can then be transferred seamlessly to the latter.

According to the company, Quality-Xpert provides an innovative, web-based platform for PCs and mobile devices like tablets designed for the manufacturing environment. Inspection characteristics transferred from Inspection-Xpert are assigned to the respective manufacturing process and work instructions are defined. Workers on the shopfloor and quality inspectors can record test results in Quality-Xpert and make the results available in real time for analysis. It combines all essential areas of quality control and the optimisation of quality processes, namely, data collection and evaluation: Efficient monitoring of critical manufacturing processes for qualified decisions are based on precise and empirically collected data.

Furthermore, avoiding inefficient "over-provisioning" and process capability studies is also offered. Production-Release-Procedure (PPAP) is the preparation of required documents such as the investigation of process capability, process flow diagrams, process FMEA, analysis of measuring systems, production control plans and more.

Available too, are test and measuring equipment management for efficient management and monitoring of the necessary test and measuring equipment with the definition of calibration and test instructions.
