Elmet closed 2025 with record revenue despite challenging market conditions. The international provider of liquid silicone rubber (LSR) processing solutions generated almost 40 million euro in revenue and continued to advance its organisational development over the past 18 months.

As part of this process, the company completed training for all executives and team leaders. Its leadership team, comprising Gerhard Mühlberger for finance, Horst Binderlehner for operations, David Gebeshuber for sales and Thorsten Häuser for development, has also initiated four strategic projects. These focus on process optimisation, ERP key users, lifecycle process management and the development of a leadership handbook.

At the same time, Elmet has announced a change at the top. Harald Wallner, who has served as CEO since March 2022, will leave the company on good terms. During his tenure, he contributed to the expansion of the dosing system portfolio, the development of the Smartshot i intelligent cold runner system and significant growth in parts manufacturing.

According to the company, the handover has already been organised for the coming days and weeks. To ensure stability and continuity, Wallner will transfer his responsibilities to the existing leadership team and the wider Elmet organisation until further notice. Elmet thanked Wallner for his contribution and wished him success in his future endeavours.
