Surface Finishing Safe and easy deburring and deflashing with new ceramic tools
Boride Engineered Abrasives introduced a new series of safe and easy to use ceramic deburring and deflashing tools. Work Finisher Tools feature a ceramic blade ideal for deburring and deflashing various materials while eliminating the fear of cutting hands, fingers or damaging the moulded part.
The Work Finisher Tool from Boride is ideal for deburring and chamfering non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum and brass products and excels on ultra-hard resins like glass-fiber, carbon-fiber and talc filled plastics while eliminating the fear of cutting your hands, fingers or damaging the molded part in the process.
Available in three sizes; large, small, and micro, the Work Finisher is light weight, long lasting and won’t rust. “The design of the ceramic blade deburrs hard plastics effortlessly and takes into consideration the wellbeing and safety of the operator,” says Lesley Murphy, Boide’s Marketing and Sales Manager. “It’s an excellent alternative to other deburring knives”.
Large Work Finisher Tool has an easy-grip, plastic handle and measures 175 mm overall with a 40 mm long blade. Blade is not replaceable.
Small Work Finisher Tool has a non-roll, plastic handle and measures 133 mm overall with a 25 mm long blade. Blade is not replaceable.
Micro Pen Work Finisher Tool has a 2-jaw chuck for easy blade replacement and a plastic handle. Measures 142 mm overall with a 10 mm long blade. Blades are replaceable and sold separately in packages of five. The Micro Pen is excellent for deburring and deflashing precision parts.
