Hasco introduces new Z 9410/... hexagon socket pipe plugs, available in either brass with an integrated FKM O-ring or in a high-temperature stainless steel version. Designed for sealing cooling holes in injection moulding tools, these plugs are compatible with hot or cold water and heat transfer oil, capable of withstanding various temperature ranges.

Socket pipe plugs are commonly used to reliably seal cooling holes in injection moulding tools. Hasco's new Z 9410/... hexagon socket pipe plugs are available either in brass with a special integrated FKM O-ring or in a high-temperature version in stainless steel. The O-ring, which in the HT version is made of a highly temperature-resistant fluorinated rubber material, ensures reliable sealing of the drilled cooling holes — even without additional sealing of the thread.

Both socket pipe plugs are suitable for reliable cooling of injection moulds with hot or cold water or heat transfer oil. The low compression set allows optimum use, significantly reducing production downtime due to leaks. They are easy to fit and remove.

While the Z 9410/... socket pipe plug made of high-quality brass material 2.0401 is suitable for temperatures up to 120°C with water and oil, the HT version made of high-quality stainless steel 1.4305 with special high-temperature O-rings is suitable for temperatures up to 180°C with water and 220°C with oil. They provide a reliable seal even at high temperature differentials.
